Your privacy

A short, plain-English summary of what this quiz collects and how it's used. Last updated June 2026.

What we collect

If you create an account: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password (we never store your actual password).
Your quiz progress and scores, linked to your account so they're saved across devices.
Anonymous totals, like the overall "quizzes completed" count.
Your IP address, used only briefly to prevent spam and limit repeated submissions.
On your device: a login session cookie, and local storage used to remember progress, your sound preference, and the daily challenge.

How we use it

To run your account, save your progress, and unlock levels.
To show the public leaderboard.
To keep the quiz fair and free of spam.

The public leaderboard

If you appear on the leaderboard, your display name and scores are shown publicly. Choose a display name you're comfortable sharing. Deleting your account removes you from the leaderboard going forward.

Third parties

We don't sell or share your personal data. If a “Buy Me a Coffee” donation widget is shown, it is loaded from buymeacoffee.com and is subject to their privacy policy. Social “share” buttons open the relevant network only when you click them.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your data is kept while your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all saved progress at any time from your Account page — this cannot be undone.
